Hello there! Welcome to Digital Flair. That's me (Norm), and another photographer, (Kathy).

Our specialty is weddings and capturing the fun, the glamour and the beauty of your special day is what we do best. I won't go into lengthy detail about our experience or ability. I believe our images should speak for us in that regard.

We typically have a dualistic approach, incorporating a blend of traditional and journalistic styles. There is an important point for you to consider here. While the "journalistic-shoot everything as it naturally happens" style of photography is the rage these days (and yes, we too will be doing a lot of that at your wedding), we believe there is still much to be said for the old fashioned art of posing. When all is said and done-the images of great beauty, the images with high visual impact, the images with pizazz and flair, will predominantly come from your posed photographs. Demand both approaches. There is a place for each.

Our home base is the central Minnesota region but we will photograph weddings anywhere-instate or out.

I think this is the section where it's fashionable for photographers to steer you to a blog site where you can get to know them better and are introduced to the cute family dog. Sorry, no dog here. It would chase all my backyard deer away. Beyond that, we are just two people who both happen to love deserts and mountains and such, where I like to photograph HAPPY grizzly bears but Kathy will seek out the flowers.

We both hate seafood and it'll be mashed potatoes and gravy or ham n'eggs, thank you.

Each of us prefers reading a good book to watching football. Ouch! Sorry if that one hurt a lot.

Unlike my fishing fanatic brother-I like to be IN the water WITH the fish rather than catching them. Kathy, (no swimmer), hates the water, period.

But if either of us were on an ocean beach we'd positively want both our feet planted firmly in the sand and NOT on some cruise ship out there. Nooo, thank you.

I love airplanes more than butterflies, to Kathy's total consternation.

And we both promise not to fight about our differences while we photograph your wedding!
